Junior Project Manager - Design & Construction (f/m/d) MEININGER Hotels Berlin Headquarters

General / Main Purpose
The purpose of this role is to assist (Senior) Project Managers with new hotel openings, renovations and refurbishments. This also includes overseeing space allocation and the optimization of Back-of-House and Front-of-House flows for new sites. Additionally, the role involves detailed drafting and design development when interior design is managed in-house.
Tasks & Responsibilities

Assist the (Senior) Project Manager in the management of the new hotel projects, renovations and refurbishments

Prepare and manage smaller projects independently

Collaborate with other departments to implement smaller projects

Assist in procuring third-party services and ensuring that implementation is executed correctly

Coordination of suppliers and third-party consultants
-
Frequent travel required for site visits and project oversight

Snagging and deficiency management for both Landlord (LL) works and Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E)

Assist in handover of buildings, with preparing snagging list and checking documentation

Space planning and allocation, including the optimization of Back-of-House and Front-of-House flows for new openings

Technical drafting and detail development for in-house interior design projects

Regular reporting to the (Senior) Project Manager on the current projects

Establish feasibility studies and produce bed calculations of potential new properties

Review guest and staff flow within proposed properties / projects prior to contract signature
**Knowledge / Skills / Experience **
-
Initial experience in design and construction project management, preferably in hospitality industry

Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or in possession of a technical / construction-related qualification or project management

Excellent analytical skills

Fluency in English, additional foreign languages are an advantage

Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD
